Elis Noa aus Österreich zeigt uns auf ihrer neuen Single Love Letters, dass feine Indie Electronica Songs nicht immer aus UK kommen müssen!

Elis Noa ist genau wie auch FELIN, nicht eine einzelne Person, sondern eine  Gruppe von Künstlern. So verstecken sich hinter dem Künstlernamen also ein Wiener Trio, bestehend aus Elisa Godino als Sängerin, Angel Vassilev an den Keys und Aaron Hader am Synth Bass und Saxophon. Dass die drei einen experimentellen Produktionsstil haben, hört man, wie ich finde, sehr gut an ihrer neuen Single Love Letters.

Musikalisch eher ruhig und sphärisch, haben die Vocals einen gewissen Push und bewegen sich in Höhen, die nicht so leicht nachzumachen sind. Besonders gut gefallen an der Single hat mir der elektronische Vibe der Musik. Insbesondere aber die authentische und mitreißende Stimme von Elisa Godino. Bester Moment: Bevor es richtig mit dem Song losgeht, gibt es diese kurze Tonleiter in den Vocals, dann setzen die restlichen Instrumente ein. Gänsehaut.

Insgesamt erinnert mich Love Letters sehr an Dahlia Sleeps, London Grammar, oder alte Sachen von Pablo Nouvelle. Toller Song, tolles Musikvideo – alles tutti! Anschauen, reinhören:
