Noé lässt die Hasen tanzen

Noé aus LA bastelt mit ihrem Hip Hop Track Rabbit Hole eine verträumte, bunt glitzernde Mischung aus Pop, Hip Hop und Neo-Soul zusammen.

Ähnlich wie Holden Laurence ist auch Noé eine Berklee Absolventin. Nicht, dass man Musik studieren müsste um erfolgreich zu sein, aber ein gewisser Unterschied ist dann doch zu bemerken. Rabbit Hole ist eine ziemlich interessante: Spannende, leicht verschobene Drums, dahinter eine verbeulte Gitarre und oben drauf der laszive Gesang von Noé.

Die Künstlerin veröffentlicht bereits seit 2016 Debüt. Startschuss machte dabei ihre Single Lady. Danach folgten eine Menge weiterer Releases und Rabbit Hole ist eben der aktuellste Output. Also was macht die Nummer so spannend?

Zum einen haben wir diese deftigen Drums, die zwar zum einen voll im Beat sind, ab und zu aber mal aus dem Raster hüpfen und so für eine gewisse Spannung im Beat-Konstrukt sorgen. Mein Ohr weiß nie genau, wo der Takt gerade ist, und das lässt mich weiter zuhören. Zuletzt hatten wir das bei Sergio Selva und Full View Die Akkordfolge im Hintergrund erinnert mich an Musik von Sophie Meiers, die ähnlichen Lo-Fi Hip Hop macht.

Dazu kommt dann eben noch Noé selbst mit ihrer schönen Stimme, die mehrfach geschichtet ist und hier und da ein paar kleine Effekte hat. Alles in allem macht das Rabbit Hole mit seinen 2:54 eben einfach unterhaltsam zu hören. Was meinst du?
