Fast ein Jahr ist die Veröffentlichung von „OLYMPIA„, Betterovs Debüt-Albums, nun schon her (hier kannst du das Interview dazu nachlesen). Seitdem war es eher ruhig um Betterov, doch nun ist es endlich soweit und er meldet sich mit seiner neuen Single „Jil Sander Sun“ zurück.

Es können ganz kleine Dinge sein – ein bestimmtes Wort, Lieder oder ein Duft und schon erwachen alte Erinnerungen. So ging es mir letztens, als ich durch die Innenstadt lief und plötzlich eine Person den selben Duft trug, wie die Person die mir letzten Sommer mein Herz gebrochen hat. Boom – das Gedankenkarussell nimmt Fahrt auf und ich war wie zurückversetzt in alte Zeiten und Orte.

Genau um diesen Moment geht es auch in Betterovs neuer Single „Jil Sander Sun„. Allerdings handelt diese nicht von verflossener Liebe, sondern einer ausgearteten Partynacht, welche in einer blutigen Schlägerei endete. Bilder die hängen blieben und beim Riechen eines markanten Dufts sofort wieder hochkommen. 

Wie wir es von Betterov kennen, vermag er auch in „Jil Sander Sun“ die perfekten Worte zu finden, um dieses Gefühlschaos einzufangen. So lautet eine Stelle:
