Sophia Bel lässt uns mit ihrer neuen Single Don’t Forget den tristen Alltag vergessen und entführt uns in eine träumerische Welt voller Schönheit.

Die kanadische Künstlerin ist bereits seit 2016 dabei, ihren melancholischen, einlullenden Sound in der Welt zu verbreiten. In dem Jahr veröffentlichte sie ihre Debüt-Single Goodbyes. Ein Jahr später droppte sie noch drei weitere Singles und verschwand dann für einige Zeit. Jetzt ist sie mit Don’t Forget zurück und zaubert uns damit ein Lächeln ins Gesicht.

Don’t Forget klingt genau so, wie das Cover aussieht. Fragil, leicht überbelichtet, süße Melancholie. Sehr atmosphärisch und treibend. Hier und da ein paar kleine Elemente wie der Synthie oder geschichtete Vocals, die dem Song Dynamik und Tiefe verleihen. Sophia Bel klingt an mancher Stelle wie AURORA, ohne dabei aber ihre Eigenheit zu verlieren. Wahrer Vorzeige-Bedroom Pop vom Feinsten und vor allem vom Herzen.
