Ihr Cover von Dusty Springfields berühmten Song Spooky streamte in der ersten Woche bereits über 10.000, was schlussendlich dazu führte, dass Eleni Drake zu den Mahogany-Sessions eingeladen wurde.

Wenn man sich Eleni Drakes bisher steile Karriere so anschaut, dann wundert es einen kaum, dass 4 der nächste Hit aus ihrem Repertoire ist. Der ganze Song erinnert mich sehr an Chet Faker. Sowohl von den Sounds, als auch vom Gesang her. Letzterer ist natürlich in der weiblichen Version gemeint.
Bester Moment: Wenn bei 00:37 das Piano reinkommt und den Song sofort in einen soften Kokon einwickelt. Textlich zerlegt sie übrigens einen ehemaligen Lover, in der Hinsicht hat sich also nicht geändert.
