D Fine Us ist ein Projekt des israelischen Producers & Songwriters Tomer Katz. Der Bub interessiert sich anscheinend für andere Kulturen und deren Musik, weshalb er einmal quer durch Mississippi reiste und sich dort das Blues-Gitarren-Spiel von den besten der Besten abschaute. Absolut richtige Entscheidung, denn Post Truth Era Blues klingt extrem bluesig, hat dabei aber trotzdem noch eine gewisse Modernität, was zu einem extrem spannenden Sound führt.

Die Single kommt extrem lässig daher. Könnte locker im Hintergrund laufen, wenn in irgendeinem Hollywood-Film mal wieder etwas in die Luft fliegt. Man könnte dazu auch eine Kippe wegschnicken und dann die weibliche Hauptbesetzung schmelzen lassen. Beides aber natürlich in Zeitlupe!

Post Truth Era Blues ist ziemlich fein produziert. Ein bisschen Chet Faker ist rauszuhören, viele kleine Details und Spielereien, die sich in der Musik verstecken. Wie ein roter Faden zieht sich dabei dann diese staubige, rostige Blues-Gitarre durch den ganzen Song und macht richtige Wild-West-Vibes. Großartiger Song mit ganz eigener Note. D Fine Us hat hier wirklich tolle Arbeit geleistet.
