Kaum zu glauben, dass der Texaner nur 23 monatliche Hörer auf Spotify hat. Die Picky-Leserschaft muss das mal ändern! 😉 Lewis klingt nämlich nicht so, als wäre der Künstler neu im Game. Ganz im Gegenteil! Leichte Ähnlichkeiten mit Paul Cherry oder The Hails zaubern mir beim Hören ein Lächeln ins Gesicht. Besonders gut gefallen an dem Song hat mir die lockere Art, sowohl der Musik als auch des Gesangs. Ganz unaufgeregt und entspannt erzeugt Teal Moss hier eine Atmosphäre, die mich abheben und die Probleme des Alltags vergessen lässt.
Während die Musik also freundlich-ungezwungen vor sich hin plätschert, sing Teal Moss mit dieser typisch androgynen Stimme, die wir von so vielen anderen Indie-Künstlern kennen vor sich hin. Ich weiß nicht, ob es dafür einen speziellen Sound-Effekt gibt, oder ob man einfach von der Natur beschenkt werden muss, um so singen zu können. Aber mich persönlich macht dieser Vibe einfach nur wunschlos glücklich und das reicht! Toll. 🙂
Auch finde ich das Cover-Bild ziemlich interessant. Es wirkt etwas so, als hätte der Texaner einfach ein Bild von seinem Hintergarten gemacht und dann als Cover benutzt
Lewis ist übrigens nur ein Vorgeschmack auf das am 03.05 erscheinende Debüt-Album Dewy. Man, ich, also wir, dürfen höchst gespannt sein, ob Teal Moss es schafft, auf seinem Album die schöne Atmosphäre aus Lewis aufrecht zu erhalten!
