Ich meine der Song heißt Too Fast und geht gerade mal 90 Sekunden. Ist das nicht witzig? Ja, bestimmt hast du schon witzigere Sachen gesehen oder gehört, aber für mich war das mitunter einer der Gründe, warum ich etwas über den Song schreiben wollte. Abgesehen vom Humor, hat JW Francis auch noch ein paar andere Sachen auf Lager. Zum Beispiel wie eine Mischung aus Mac DeMarco, Gus Dapperton und Boy Pablo zu klingen.
Der Song bewegt sich im extrem heißen Bereich des Indie-Barometers. Hätte ich einen Geigenzähler, der auf Indie-Vibes programmiert wäre, würde dieser jetzt ausschlagen. Aber richtig. Ab der ersten Sekunde erzeugt der Song eine solche Laidback-Vintage-Atmosphäre, dass einem sofort warm ums Herz wird beim hören. Praktisch wie ein kurzer Shot Indie. Hochprozentig. Kurz und knackig. Gefällt mir gut! 🙂
